off you're not using "set protocol zmodem" and "send".
Did you try that? See Chapter 14 of Using C-Kermit.
Aside from that I don't see anything obviously wrong with your script,
but I don't know the details of the connection, etc. Try replacing:
redirect /usr/bin/csz -vvv \%f
with:
send /binary \%f
and see if it makes a difference. If not, follow up by email to
kermit-support@columbia.edu.
